Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Manager – IoT Solutions to lead the complete lifecycle of IoT products — from concept, design, and development to deployment, support, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics system design, embedded systems, and IoT device-to-cloud integration, combined with proven product management and leadership capabilities.

This is a hands-on role for a technical leader who is passionate about innovation, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively bridge the gap between business needs and engineering execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management & Leadership:

• Serve as the technical point of contact for IoT product development.

• Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle – requirements gathering, design, prototyping, testing, production, deployment, and support.

• Prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in an Agile and dynamic environment.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to define product roadmaps.

• Maintain strong professional relationships with partners and vendors.

• Ensure timely delivery of product milestones while balancing quality and cost.

IoT System Design & Integration:

• Develop and qualify smart products using single/multi-controller designs.

• Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms and enterprise systems.

• Define and develop APIs and interfaces for seamless device-to-cloud communication.

• Oversee schematic design, layout, and circuit simulation.

• Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards and support certification processes (Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Bluetooth/BLE, Cellular IoT).

Research, Innovation & Documentation:

• Stay updated on emerging IoT technologies and drive POCs for new solutions.

• Contribute to system architecture decisions and product enhancements.

• Develop requirement specifications, test plans, design documents, and FMEA.

• Maintain high-quality technical documentation for ongoing development and maintenance.

Troubleshooting & Support:

• Lead system-level troubleshooting across hardware, firmware, and connectivity layers.

• Diagnose and resolve issues in both development and deployed systems.

• Provide technical support to cross-functional teams and customers.

Collaboration & Team Development:

• Work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and product stakeholders.

• Participate in code/design reviews and ensure development best practices.

• Mentor junior engineers and help build a high-performance product culture.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of IoT architecture & ecosystems.

• Expertise in embedded systems, microcontrollers, and peripherals.

• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, Java, or JavaScript.

• Familiarity with RTOS, Eclipse/Visual Studio, Git, and CI/CD tools.

• Strong understanding of sensors (temperature, pressure, vibration, water quality, etc.) and their validation processes.

• Knowledge of metering products (Energy, Gas, Water) and smart connected devices with validation experience.

• Experience with IoT protocols and standards – MQTT, CoAP, Zigbee, Z-Wave, BLE, Cellular IoT.

• Hardware development knowledge including Analog/digital Design, circuit reviews, and assembly packages.

• Experience with EMI/EMC testing, compliance, and resolution.

Experience:

• 7–10+ years of experience in instrumentation/electronics system design and IoT product development.

• At least 6 years in product/project management for IoT/electronics solutions.

• Proven track record of delivering IoT hardware–software integrated products.

• Hands-on experience in system integration, validation, and troubleshooting.

• Strong experience in managing cross-functional teams and customer interactions.
