Reo.Dev launches Agent Intent Gateway, giving DevTool companies visibility into AI agent buying intent.

Reo.Dev launches Agent Intent Gateway, giving DevTool companies visibility into AI agent buying intent. * Aug 25, 2026 Updated 1 hr ago SAN FRANCISCO, CA / ACCESS Newswire / August 25, 2026 / Reo.Dev, the AI-native go-to-market platform built for companies selling to engineering and technical teams, today announced the launch of the Agent Intent Gateway, the world's first platform designed to capture purchase intent generated by AI agents evaluating developer tools. The launch comes as AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other coding assistants increasingly influence how developers discover, compare, and adopt software. Instead of visiting company websites directly, these agents interact with documentation, APIs, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to evaluate products and recommend solutions on behalf of developers. While this shift is changing software buying behavior, it has also created a major visibility gap for DevTool companies. Traditional web analytics and intent platforms rely on the digital footprints left by human buyers, such as website visits, documentation browsing, product page engagement, and form submissions, to identify purchase intent. As AI agents increasingly evaluate software by interacting directly with MCP servers, many of these signals disappear. They may query documentation, compare capabilities, and assess products without ever visiting a website, leaving DevTool companies with little visibility into who is evaluating their product, what features are being explored, or whether they are making it onto a buyer's shortlist. Reo.Dev's Agent Intent Gateway addresses this challenge by acting as a proxy layer between AI agents and a DevTool company's MCP server. Instead of these AI-driven evaluations remaining invisible, the platform makes them visible by surfacing previously unavailable insights into how AI agents interact with products. It identifies which AI agents are evaluating a product, the documentation and product capabilities they access, how frequently they return, and the depth of their evaluation. For the first time, go-to-market teams can understand AI-driven product evaluation activity that was previously hidden, enabling them to identify emerging buying opportunities well before traditional sales signals appear. "The software buying journey is entering a new phase where AI agents are becoming active participants in product discovery and evaluation. Companies can no longer rely only on website traffic or demo requests to understand buyer intent because many evaluations are happening entirely through AI agents. With the Agent Intent Gateway, we're giving DevTool companies visibility into these interactions for the first time, allowing them to understand what AI agents are evaluating and act on those signals before purchasing decisions are made," said Achintya Gupta, Co-founder and CEO of Reo.Dev. The Agent Intent Gateway extends Reo.Dev's AI-native GTM platform, which already captures developer signals from GitHub, package managers, documentation usage, product interactions, and external technical communities. By adding AI agent interactions into its intelligence layer, Reo.Dev enables Sales, Marketing, and RevOps teams to understand buying behavior across both human and AI-driven journeys. As AI-assisted software evaluation becomes increasingly common, the ability to identify AI-generated purchase intent will become a critical capability for companies selling into engineering organizations. Reo.Dev's latest innovation gives DevTool companies early visibility into buying signals that previously remained invisible, enabling them to prioritize accounts, engage technical buyers more effectively, and accelerate pipeline creation. The Agent Intent Gateway is available as part of Reo.Dev's AI-native GTM platform for companies selling to engineering and technical teams. About Reo.Dev Reo.Dev (Devenue, Inc.) is the AI-native GTM platform built specifically for companies selling into engineering and technical departments. It captures and interprets AI signals- from GitHub, package managers, documentation, and product usage to external signals like Stack Overflow, Reddit, LinkedIn, and job changes- and turns them into AI agents that act: building audiences, finding buyers, and prioritizing pipeline. Backed by Elevation Capital, Heavybit, and India Quotient, Reo.Dev has raised $15.3 million to date and is trusted by 200+ leading DevTool companies, including NVIDIA, LangChain, ElevenLabs, Couchbase, Nebius, n8n, and Temporal. Reo.Dev launches Agent Intent Gateway to track AI agent buying behaviour for DevTool firms

Reo.Dev has launched the Agent Intent Gateway, a platform designed to capture purchase intent from AI agents evaluating developer tools. The system addresses a visibility gap created as AI coding assistants like Claude Code and Cursor increasingly evaluate software by interacting with documentation and APIs rather than visiting company websites. The Gateway acts as a proxy layer between AI agents and a company's Model Context Protocol server, revealing which agents are evaluating products, what features they access, and how frequently they return. This provides DevTool companies visibility into AI-driven evaluations that previously remained hidden. The platform extends Reo.Dev's existing AI-native go-to-market system, which already captures developer signals from GitHub, package managers, and technical communities. Reo.Dev has raised $15.3 million from Elevation Capital, Heavybit, and India Quotient, serving over 200 companies including NVIDIA, LangChain, and ElevenLabs.

Reo.Dev raises $11.3 million Series A to expand ai-powered sales intelligence for developer-focused software companies. July 17, 2026 Reo.Dev raises $11.3M in Series A led by Elevation Capital Reo.Dev has raised $11.3 million in a Series A financing to accelerate development of its AI-powered go-to-market platform, which helps software companies identify buying signals from engineering teams and technical decision-makers. The funding round was led by Elevation Capital, with participation from existing investors Heavybit, India Quotient and Foster Ventures, as well as new investor Uncorrelated Ventures and several angel investors focused on artificial intelligence. The latest investment brings Reo.Dev's total funding to $15.3 million, just eight months after the company announced its seed round. The company plans to use the capital to expand its frontier AI capabilities and advance its roadmap for AI-powered sales agents as software purchasing increasingly shifts toward developer-led adoption and AI-assisted product evaluation. Reo.Dev's platform is built around a Developer Knowledge Graph that now contains more than 100 million engineer profiles and supports more than 200 enterprise customers, including NVIDIA, LangChain, ElevenLabs, Couchbase, Nebius, n8n and Temporal. Rather than relying on traditional marketing engagement metrics, Reo.Dev identifies purchase intent by analyzing technical activity across the software development lifecycle. Its platform captures signals from GitHub repositories, command-line interface usage, package managers, documentation engagement, product interactions and broader indicators such as technology adoption, software migrations, hiring activity, engineering seniority and buying influence. Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Achintya Gupta said engineering teams often reveal purchasing intent long before engaging with sales organizations. He said developer actions such as repository forks, command-line usage, Docker downloads and migrations away from competing technologies frequently represent the earliest indicators of buying interest, and Reo.Dev was designed to surface those signals before they become visible through conventional sales processes. Among the company's newest products is its Agent Intent Gateway, which is designed to identify purchasing signals generated by AI agents interacting with software through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). As AI systems increasingly evaluate, compare and recommend enterprise software on behalf of users, Reo.Dev aims to help vendors recognize buying intent originating from machine-driven interactions as well as human users. The platform is built on a technical data layer covering more than 3,000 technologies and 250 technical job functions, enabling sales, marketing and revenue operations teams to prioritize high-intent accounts. Reo.Dev integrates with enterprise sales platforms including Salesforce, HubSpot, Salesloft, Outreach, Apollo and Claude. The company says customers are already seeing measurable commercial results. DataHub generated $1.01 million in sales pipeline during a single quarter from accounts identified through Reo.Dev's buying signals, while Unstructured.io now attributes 40% of its pipeline and 20% more booked meetings to opportunities surfaced by the platform. Reo.Dev operates in the growing sales intelligence market alongside companies such as Common Room and Warmly but differentiates itself by focusing specifically on behavioral signals generated by developers and engineering organizations rather than broader corporate intent data. That specialization has helped the company establish a customer base among developer tools providers, AI infrastructure companies and enterprise software vendors selling technical products. Elevation Capital investors Krishna Mehra and Poorvi Vijay said enterprise software vendors increasingly need contextual intelligence as both engineers and AI agents become more influential in technology purchasing decisions. They said Reo.Dev's Developer Knowledge Graph provides a differentiated data foundation that positions the company to become a key platform for software companies selling into technical organizations. Alongside the funding announcement, Reo.Dev also launched DevGTM Academy, a learning platform featuring case studies and best practices designed to help go-to-market teams improve sales and marketing strategies for developer-focused products. The initiative complements the company's broader strategy of building tools and educational resources tailored to the evolving dynamics of technical software buying.

We built Reo.Dev to capture exactly that," said Achintya Gupta, Co-founder and CEO, Reo.Dev. One of Reo.Dev's latest innovations is its Agent Intent Gateway, which captures purchase intent generated by AI agents interacting with products through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). As AI agents increasingly research, evaluate, and recommend software, it enables businesses to identify buying signals from AI-driven interactions, extending buyer intelligence into the emerging world of agent-to-agent commerce. Built on its Developer Knowledge Graph spanning 3,000+ technologies and 250 technical functions, Reo.Dev helps Sales, Marketing, and RevOps teams identify high-intent buyers and prioritize opportunities. This approach has helped the company build a growing customer base among developer tools, AI infrastructure and technical B2B software companies. Krishna Mehra and Poorvi Vijay of Elevation Capital said, "Today, AI companies are increasingly selling into engineers and AI agents, both of whom require highly contextual engagement rather than generic sales tactics. Reo.Dev has built a category-leading platform on a data layer of more than 100 million engineer profiles, creating the System of Context and Action that software and infrastructure companies will increasingly rely on to sell effectively." Reo.Dev has also launched DevGTM Academy, a learning hub featuring case studies and insights from GTM leaders focused on selling to developers. SOURCE Reo.Dev
