MEMS System Engineering team is seeking a motivated MEMS System Hardware Intern to provide support to out Aerospace and Defense Business Unit located at ADI’s Corporate headquarters in Wilmington, MA. The candidate will work in the MEMS System Design and Hardware team to support development of IMU (Inertial Measurement Units) and Inertial Navigation (INS-GNSS) products.
Hands on characterization of IMUs and bring up of hardware.
Participate in development of new tests to expand current evaluation capabilities.
Utilize lab equipment such as Power supplies, Multimeters, Logic Analyzer and Oscilloscopes to characterize MEMS device performance.
Document procedures and performance of the test to enable other users to utilize the setup.
Collaborate with other team members to enable product development.
Candidate shall meet at least four of the qualifications listed below:
Advanced years of Bachelors or Master’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience with Matlab, Python, Labview, C#
Knowledge of analog, digital and mixed signal circuits
Experience with electrical circuit board layout tools Cadence Allegro or Altium
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of MEMS and/or Inertial sensors is a plus
