Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of consulting or industry experience in enterprise data management, data architecture, metadata management, or data governance.
  • Experience delivering enterprise data initiatives within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise data architecture, business architecture, metadata management, data governance, business glossaries, data lineage, data stewardship, and conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise metadata and governance platforms such as Collibra or similar solutions.
  • Experience working with Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, Talend, Erwin, and ER/Studio.
  • Understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, and cloud data management principles.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and manage stakeholders effectively across business and technology teams.
  • Ability to lead workstreams, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality consulting engagements.
Responsibilities
  • Lead enterprise data architecture initiatives supporting strategic business and regulatory programs.
  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business capabilities and enterprise objectives.
  • Lead metadata management and data governance initiatives, including business glossary development, data lineage, stewardship models, ownership frameworks, and enterprise data catalog implementation.
  • Partner with business, technology, architecture, analytics, and regulatory stakeholders to translate complex data concepts into practical business solutions and executive recommendations.
  • Conduct current-state assessments, develop future-state roadmaps, and produce executive-ready architecture documentation and client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure enterprise data architecture aligns with business requirements and technology platforms.
  • Support enterprise regulatory, risk, and compliance initiatives through effective data architecture, metadata management, and governance practices.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to successful project delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous management consulting experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise regulatory, risk, compliance, or data transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of BCBS 239, enterprise data governance frameworks, metadata management, or enterprise data operating models.
  • CDMC (Cloud Data Management Capabilities) certification or related certifications.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
