Requirements
  • Knowledge of basic public safety and security practices.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
  • Ability to choose and use the tools and equipment needed to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to bend, lift, carry, grip tools, use a broom, operate compactors and hand trucks, and complete hands-on cleaning and facility tasks safely.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions about assigned tasks, and prioritize work when needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license.
Responsibilities
  • Keep buildings, common areas, restrooms, kitchens, and workspaces clean, organized, and ready for use.
  • Perform routine facility maintenance tasks and notify management when repairs are needed.
  • Clear debris from sidewalks, parking lots, docking areas, warehouse floors, and other work areas.
  • Collect office garbage and dispose of it properly in designated bins.
  • Break down unnecessary boxes, collect shrink wrap, and prepare materials for recycling or disposal.
  • Compact cardboard and shrink wrap as needed.
  • Remove stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Sweep floors, docking areas, and other assigned spaces as needed.
  • Dust warehouse racking and support general facility upkeep.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
