  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, or a related technical field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience will be considered. A Master's degree may be preferred if hired at a higher level.
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Server+, Network+, Security+, or MCSA are highly desirable.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, manage, and maintain physical and virtual servers, operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), and related local network and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory and other systems to ensure security and operational integrity.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi networks to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.
  • Implement and enforce security policies, monitor system logs for threats, manage antivirus solutions and firewalls, and perform regular security audits to protect company assets.
  • Develop, implement, and manage robust backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity. Regularly test backup and restore procedures.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues. Provide timely and effective support to end users.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or other languages to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Perform regular system updates, patch management, and performance tuning to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Manage the lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets, including procurement, deployment, and license compliance.
