- Four years of experience in electrical project installations are required.
- Applicants must have reliable transportation.

- The ability to work with hands and multitask is required.
- Advanced electrical knowledge is required.
- A valid state motor vehicle operator’s license and clear driving record are required to meet company policy.
- Applicable state certification is required.
- Install electrical systems in commercial construction markets at job sites and small or medium project locations.
- Directly supervise and coordinate assigned helper and apprentice electricians on a per-job basis.
- Promote excellent customer relations by interacting with customers, determining their needs, and providing solutions.
- Report to the project worksite on time and ready to work.
- Apply basic electrical and construction principles and practices to solve design, development, and modification problems involving provided parts and assemblies.
- Complete work according to national and local codes and remain current with the latest revision of the National Electrical Code.
- Complete work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Fulfill daily commitments and stay on the project schedule as directed by the job-site foreman.
- Assist with loading materials, digging trenches, pulling wire through conduit, and other tasks needed to complete the project.
- Treat customers, other trades personnel, vendors, and fellow workers with dignity and respect.
- Keep the job site clean before leaving and clutter-free during work.
- Complete and submit paperwork, including timecards, when required.
- Know, follow, and hold others accountable to the company safety policy, program, and training.
- Troubleshoot common electrical systems, including services, feeders, and branch circuits.
- Plan new or modified installations to minimize material waste, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
- Prepare sketches showing wiring and equipment locations, or follow diagrams and blueprints, ensuring concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.
- Splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.
- Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
- Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
- Connect power cables to equipment such as electric ranges or motors and install grounding leads.
- Observe installed equipment or systems to detect hazards and determine the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
- Repair faulty equipment or systems.
- Perform small electrical projects as a service electrician.
- Travel as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
