Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Create routine to complex work schedules to determine the scheduling sequence and lead time for each project or operational activity and meet forecasted master schedules.
  • Analyze production specifications and training data.
  • Plan and schedule workflow for each resource or operation according to established sequences and lead times.
  • Plan sequences with other operations.
  • Confer with department supervisors and management to determine project status and facilitate training completion according to schedule.
  • Alter schedules to accommodate unforeseen emergency situations.
  • Prepare training reports.
  • Prepare standard lists of materials, tools, and equipment required for training sessions.
  • Prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, equipment, and services.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party training providers to plan and schedule employee participation in training programs.
  • Provide functional supervision to nontechnical staff, with work products subject to review by a division manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Work outdoors frequently and operate in conditions involving heat, cold, humidity, rain, machinery, power tools, vehicles, noise, dust, and noxious odors.
  • Perform frequent local travel and occasionally work beyond normal working hours, including possible weekends and holidays.
  • Move, walk, stand, kneel, or crouch on narrow, uneven, irregular, or slippery surfaces and climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, or similar structures.
  • Meet the stated vision, hearing, speech, dexterity, and communication requirements, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
