What to expect:
The primary purpose of this job position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the nurse supervisor, or the Director of Nursing Services. The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility, and the requirements of this state.

Successful Candidates:
Must possess a Medication Technician certification - not just QMAP
Must have MAA on CNA License.
Must be a CNA
** QMaps are not authorized to work in a SNF: The main differences between QMAPs and CNA-MEDs lie in their primary responsibilities and the extent of their medication administration training. QMAPs are trained to focus on medication-related tasks, while CNA-MEDs combine medication administration with the broader scope of CNA duties.
Rate: $26-$29/hour
