Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Knowledge of Integrated Pest Management methods
  • Ability to identify pests and pathogens specific to Cannabis
  • Knowledge of growing practices
  • Good documentation, inventory, and organizational skills
  • Ability to keep to a tight schedule
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic weights and measurements skills
  • Flexibility with hours and days
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Responsibilities
  • Follow all SOPs and policies
  • Acquire knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi
  • Follow detailed IPM plans and timelines
  • Perform routine monitoring and scouting of plant population
  • Obtain MD private pesticide applicators license
  • Apply crop protection agents under supervision
  • Document application of crop protection agents
  • Identify and execute pest prevention
  • Maintain and clean PPE and equipment
  • Assist with cleaning rooms after harvest
  • Perform cultivation tasks
  • Sweep, mop, and assist with cleaning tasks
