Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
  • Practical experience working in a research setting is required.
  • The candidate should be comfortable interacting with research subjects and research staff.
  • The candidate should be familiar with collecting data through computerized behavioral tasks.
  • Regulatory experience, including submitting protocols and consent and reporting adverse events, is required.
  • The candidate should be organized and able to perform in a deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in coordinating recruitment efforts, conducting telephone eligibility screenings, completing in-person study visits, consenting participants, and overseeing study sessions.
  • Maintain training materials and assist in training personnel on center-wide and study-specific standard operating procedures, including data entry and quality control, phone screening, data collection, and computerized behavioral tasks.
  • Assist with supervising two research assistants when applicable.
  • Assist with managing study product accountability and maintain inventory records of study-related materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate data entry and quality assurance assignments.
  • Attend monthly lab and staff meetings and report directly to the Project Manager.
  • Monitor and oversee sample logging and storage procedures to ensure accurate record maintenance for analysis.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a related field with at least 2 years of experience is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is highly preferred.
