Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly documentation.
  • Hand dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of related tools and equipment.
  • IPC-A-610 certification.
  • IPC-J-STD-001 certification in soldering for both through-hole and surface-mount technology.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble and inspect electrical panels, circuit boards, and assemblies according to related documentation and drawings.
  • Trim and form leaded parts.
  • Use a soldering iron to build basic electrical assemblies according to related documentation.
  • Complete production documentation accurately.
  • Communicate with Cell Team Leaders about parts shortages and problems.
  • Complete final assembly and pack and ship products as required.
  • Rotate to different workstations and cells as needed.
  • Complete hour-by-hour forms or other documentation for cycle-time and performance analysis as required.
  • Prepare, place, and install components.
  • Perform mechanical assembly as required.
  • Participate in training and certification programs to keep job knowledge and skills updated.
  • Perform hand soldering, inspection, and touch-up of through-hole, surface-mount, mixed assemblies, and custom parts according to specifications and IPC workmanship standards.

ViTrox Americas welcomes Huy Pham as Technical Support Engineer. Jul 21, 2026 ViTrox Americas is pleased to announce the appointment of Huy Pham as Technical Support Engineer, strengthening the company's commitment to delivering world-class service and technical expertise to customers throughout North America. In his new role, Pham will provide technical support, troubleshooting, training, and applications assistance for ViTrox's industry-leading inspection and manufacturing intelligence solutions. He will work closely with customers to optimize equipment performance, improve production efficiency, and support successful implementation of ViTrox technologies across a wide range of electronics manufacturing environments. Pham brings more than a decade of experience in electronics manufacturing, process engineering, inspection technologies, and production support. His background includes extensive work with SMT manufacturing processes, automated optical inspection (AOI), automated x-ray inspection (AXI), soldering technologies, process optimization, and advanced manufacturing equipment. Most recently, Pham served as Senior Process Engineering Technician at Creation Technologies, where he supported process validation, technical documentation, training initiatives, and cross-functional process improvement programs. Prior to that, he held several engineering and technical leadership positions at Flex, where he gained hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting advanced inspection systems, including ViTrox platforms. "Huy's technical expertise, customer-focused mindset, and extensive experience in electronics manufacturing make him a valuable addition to our team," said Sy Creed, Director of Business Development, ViTrox Americas.
