We are hiring for an exciting opportunity; a Director to join our Product team and lead our product vision, strategy and portfolio aimed at growing upmarket. This role can be performed from one of our Canadian offices, or remotely from Canada or the US.

What you’ll work on:
We are adding an experienced and strategically-minded Director of Product Management to our leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the vision and strategy that powers Clio’s growth with large customers including large law firms, government and corporate in-house counsel segments. You will lead and inspire a talented team of product managers to drive the development and execution of the strategy.
As the Director, you will shape the direction of the product portfolio, both product areas that you’ll directly manage as well as collaborating with other product areas to ensure that we’re executing against a robust roadmap targeting upmarket segments. You will build alignment across all functions of the business and drive innovation that builds upon Manage’s market leading status.
Product Vision and Strategy (New + Existing Products):
Define the vision and goals for the Clio Mid-market and Enterprise business including existing markets as well as new and expansion vectors.
Articulate and share a clear 1, 3 and 5 year strategy that aligns with the company’s goals across the various time horizons.
Ensure the business performance meets the targets set and course correct across product and other business functions where necessary.
Conduct detailed analysis of new opportunities, presenting detailed assessments, forecasts and opinions to drive investment decisions.
Develop and implement strategies as new investments are green lit. Ensure that the products are launched on time with quality and deliver real customer impact.
Lead the creation of a roadmap that drives innovation while addressing market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics and business goals.
Become THE expert on our customers and have a deep understanding of the environments in which they operate.
Team Leadership:
Provide visionary leadership to a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Hire, mentor and develop team members with product management best practices, empowering them to excel in their roles and contribute to our customers and the company’s success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Take a holistic approach to the success of the portfolio by partnering with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, operations and customer success, to ensure seamless product development and go-to-market strategies and to course correct where results are lagging.
Foster strong communication channels that breed creativity and accelerate project timelines.
Analysis and Insights:
Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of your teams’ efforts
Synthesize market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities and create actionable plans to address.
Utilize customer feedback, data analytics, and market intelligence to make informed decisions that enhance product offerings.
Product Lifecycle Management:
Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept and development to launch, post-launch optimization and scale.
Requirements:
3+ years in a Director role at a multi-product company that sells to the Enterprise segment.
Deep experience in B2B, Saas. (Bonus points for verticalized Saas)
A proven track record with multiple examples of scaling existing products as well as launching new ones
An ability to go from a 10,000 foot view into the details and back again
Experience as a thought leader, defining a vision and long-term strategies
Exceptional communication skills
Skilled at bringing your product team as well as cross functional teams along with you, motivating them to challenge and support.
Experience working with senior leaders, and are able to easily navigate communications with the executive team.
You can take an ambiguous problem space, quickly understand the issues and circumstances at play and create a concrete and actionable plan for your team
You have a track record of building and growing a high-performing team of engaged product managers.

The full salary range* for this role is $204,000 to $255,000 to $306,000 CAD..
In addition, this role is eligible for variable pay that is based on company performance, with actual payout amounts calculated and paid on a quarterly basis.
*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
