Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Program Management, or related field
  • 7 years of supply chain experience in the aerospace industry, automotive, or manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience, including at least 3 years of experience working within cross-functional teams, demonstrating proven capabilities, a history of professional growth, and increasing responsibility
  • Strong proficiency in using production Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as IFS, SAP, or Oracle
  • Strong knowledge of commodity markets, supply chain dynamics, and best practices in strategic sourcing
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with a track record of achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and cost modeling
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma concepts, tools, and processes
Responsibilities
  • Implement and utilize standardized Supply Chain Management processes and strategies to improve operational performance across sites and with suppliers
  • Manage and optimize procurement, planning & scheduling, logistics, and associated key performance metrics. This includes Sales and Operations Planning, Master Production Schedule, Supplier Schedules, freight, material handling, warehousing, inbound/outbound logistics, and more. Document best practices and ensure sustained implementation of Supply Chain Management processes
  • Deploy, manage, monitor, and improve planning processes such as Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP), Master Production Schedule (MPS), warehousing and logistics, demand and inventory processes, and procurement processes
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies. Conduct market research, analyze supplier capabilities, and identify potential sources of supply for high-quality materials at competitive prices
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on capabilities, quality standards, cost-effectiveness, and delivery schedules. Establish strong relationships, negotiate terms, and manage supplier performance
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering, and alternative sourcing strategies. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to find cost-effective solutions
  • Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks. Monitor market trends, geopolitical factors, and regulatory changes to minimize disruptions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sourcing strategies with project timelines and objectives. Foster effective communication and coordination
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance, cost savings, delivery reliability, and quality. Prepare reports and contribute to strategic decision-making
