Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics, pricing, cost modeling, warehousing procurement, or contract administration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial and cost modeling and pivot tables.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and enterprise logistics systems such as Cello, transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, and enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Strong understanding of warehousing cost drivers, equipment leasing and purchasing, labor rates, and commercial contract structures including master service agreements, service-level agreements, and rate exhibits.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear leadership presentations and manage cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Build dynamic cost models for storage, labor, equipment, and value-added services to evaluate third-party logistics proposals and benchmark them against direct-operation costs.
  • Generate executive-level reports, pricing summaries, and scenario comparisons to support strategic decision-making and site selection.
  • Analyze rate structures and identify cost-saving and operational improvement opportunities across distribution centers.
  • Lead requests for information, requests for proposal, and requests for quotation processes for third-party logistics warehousing operations and direct-operation support vendors.
  • Partner with Legal, Procurement, and Operations to draft, review, and maintain master service agreements, statements of work, service-level agreements, and rate cards.
  • Oversee contract extensions, pricing amendments, and scope-change controls with internal and external partners.
  • Conduct vendor benchmarking, commercial evaluations, and bid comparisons to assess competitive pricing, service capability, and compliance with internal procurement requirements.
  • Execute end-to-end procurement workflows in the Cello platform, including floating requests for quotation, consolidating vendor quotes, and evaluating commercial bids.
  • Oversee contract and billing administration in Cello, including registration of master rate cards, monitoring billing settlements, and resolving cost variances.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Information Technology, Legal, and Finance to ensure pricing accuracy, operational feasibility, and system alignment.
  • Lead and support ad hoc logistics, sourcing, pricing, and operational projects driven by business requirements, customer needs, and management priorities.
  • Develop rapid business cases, cost analyses, market benchmarks, and sourcing strategies for new warehouse operations, network changes, customer opportunities, and special projects.
  • Support new site launches, expansions, relocations, operational transitions, and other time-sensitive initiatives from feasibility assessment through vendor sourcing and implementation.
  • Evaluate emerging logistics technologies and solutions, including warehouse automation, material-handling equipment, robotics, and other productivity-enhancement initiatives, from operational and financial perspectives.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with large-scale distribution networks or multiple distribution centers.
  • Prior exposure to material-handling equipment leasing or purchasing, pallet pooling agreements, or temporary staffing procurement.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Logistics, or similar methodologies.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and safety regulations in warehouse logistics.
