The CoverMyMeds Product Finance team is hiring a Director in Columbus, OH. The Director of Strategic Finance will support the company’s efforts to drive financial and strategic decisions at CoverMyMeds. This role will drive the financial evaluation of Covermymeds’s M&A, strengthen analytics and forecasting of key products, such as GLP-1s, and support emerging products, including Universal Starting Platform.
Position Description:
- Partner with CSBD to evaluate potential partnerships and/or acquisitions
- Lead synergy analysis with cross-functional team as new projects/deals arise
- Accountable to senior leaders for development of the valuation analysis for M&A opportunities using discounted cash flow model and other relevant valuation practices
- Develop and analyze analytics and trends for key products, such as GLP-1s
- Develop a financial framework to assess Emerging product/incubation product ideas
- Partner with Product Leadership team on portfolio assessments – understanding codependences, synergies and other appropriate optimizations
- Prepares detailed presentations and forecast reporting for Senior Leadership
- Perform other ad hoc analysis, as needed
- Develops relationships with relevant internal stakeholders across the enterprise, cross functionally, corporate development, and other functions
Critical Skills
- Capability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction, interact with business units throughout the organization and present the results
- Financial reporting knowledge including: income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement, net working capital, and capital expenditures
- Ability to apply financial and strategic analysis to companies, primarily publicly-traded competitors and other companies of interest
- Strong analytics or statistical skills
- Exceptional communications skills (clear and concise communication to senior leadership)
- Written communications skills and the ability to concisely summarize key trends and analyses to management and other key stakeholders
- Excellent PC skills with a solid working knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, SAC/SAP
Minimum Requirements:
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Fewer years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.
