  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM degree plus 4+ years industry experience in:
  • C/C++ programming
  • Performance profiling and optimization on the GPU and/or CPU
  • DirectX 12, and/or Vulkan
  • Writing and/or optimizing shaders or graphics techniques
  • Experience working as a game developer, graphics programmer, or closely related position.
  • Familiarity with modern processor architecture, including CPU, GPU, memory sub-system and other components.
  • Microsoft Windows architecture and how it can impact performance.
  • Multi-threading experience
  • Experience in using Unreal Engine
  • Experience with ISPC
  • SIMD assembly, vectorization, and optimization
  • Direct customer interaction experience
  • Familiarity with Intel tools such as (GPA) Graphics Performance Analyzer or VTune
  • Experience using graphics tools such as Renderdoc or PIX
Responsibilities
  • With third party game developers to optimize their games, implement new features, and address any functional issues on Intel platforms, including integrated and discrete GPUs and CPUs.
  • Develop sample code, documentation, presentations, and other materials to illustrate best practices on Intel platforms.
  • Work with graphics driver, compiler, and performance engineers to debug issues and obtain optimal results.
