  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of engineering or scientific discipline
  • At least 15+ years of progressive related experience leading RA/QA in a life sciences company
  • Experience with in SaMD, SaaS, SWMD models and software focused quality systems
  • Excellent working knowledge of the US and global regulatory framework
  • Direct experience with FDA Quality System Regulations and ISO 13485 regulatory requirements
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven experience in leading change management initiatives
  • Ability to travel based on business needs
Responsibilities
  • Work with the SVP Regulatory Compliance to develop and implement regulatory affairs and quality assurance strategy
  • Establish quality standards, metrics, and objectives
  • Develop methods to embed quality into product development and manufacturing processes
  • Build and manage relationships with FDA and global regulatory agencies
  • Define and implement regulatory strategies and submissions
  • Coordinate internal and external quality audits
  • Ensure adequacy of standard operating procedures from a GxP perspective
  • Oversee global regulatory strategy and submissions
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership of Quality Assurance activities
  • Implement best practices of Quality Management Systems
  • Identify and resolve product, process, or customer Quality-related issues
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of quality professionals
  • Implement effective quality control processes
  • Lead investigations and root cause analyses for quality issues
  • Continuously assess and improve quality-related processes and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality documentation
