  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism/public relations, marketing, business, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in corporate/internal communication, journalism, or public relations; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Experience driving an integrated storytelling and messaging campaign to shape reputation and perception
  • Experience preparing and executing measurable, results-oriented communication plans and change management strategies, principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Deep knowledge of communication strategies, campaigns, and approaches
  • The ability to absorb rapidly and grapple with a wide range of complex issues
  • Strong project management skills, and the ability to execute programs with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Exceptional writing skills, and in particular, the ability to write in different styles to reflect the nature of the stakeholder, audience, and message
  • Experience with current web practices, supporting technologies, new media (including social media and viral messaging)
  • An uncompromising commitment to quality – detail oriented but able to see the big picture
  • Fluent communication skills in both spoken and written English
Responsibilities
  • Engaging both VG&Media and Firm colleagues on a broad range of topics, primarily in support of Transformation initiatives, operational imperatives, and people propositions
  • Producing cutting-edge content and helping develop innovative campaigns to engage customers
  • Working with the Creative Team to develop insightful marketing campaigns by designing communication strategies and assets that engage audiences
  • Overseeing the implementation of communication strategies, including coordinating day-to-day communication activities
  • Thinking strategically and displaying meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Exercising excellent interpersonal communication skills, prioritizing and adapting in a fast-paced environment
  • Driving persuasive strategic messages with key internal stakeholders
  • Managing proactive stakeholder relationships and maintaining a client service-oriented mindset
  • Assisting in the development of the team’s communication skills, knowledge, and capabilities through identification and dissemination of best practices and awareness-building initiatives
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Change Management and/or Change Management Certification (especially ProSci) is a big plus
