  • In depth understanding of firmware algorithms used in any NAND Flash based storage devices SSD, mobile flash etc.
  • Knowledge in Host protocols like PCIe, NVMe, NAND Flash memory technology
  • Experienced and familiar with firmware or embedded software development, Integration and validation
  • Test coverage methods for real-time embedded systems, especially storage systems and/or NAND storage
  • Able to methodically root cause complex failure mechanism
  • Strong programming knowledge & debugging skills in Python, C and C++
  • Soft skills, Excellent written and verbal skills, be a Team player
  • Able to develop key relationships
  • Able to elect requirements from all stakeholders
  • Be able to work in pressure for quick resolution and delivery.
  • Minimum BS + 6-8 years or MS + 5-7 years in storage related segments

Responsibilities
  • Technically lead group of engineers on NVMe Client SSD Validation.
  • Technically drive and motivate the engineers to achieve the efficiency in test development, code quality, validation coverage enhancements.
  • Identify future validation strategy including defining validation infrastructure and validation methodology.
  • Work with cross functional teams like Architecture design, Firmware development, product development team and represent firmware validation function.
  • Work with customer facing team to understand field bugs and lead the team to enhance the validation coverage.
  • Collaborate with software tools team and identify validation framework and automation enhancements.
