Requirements
  • Strong understanding of operations and prior experience in satellite operations.
  • Experience with National Reconnaissance Office satellite systems.
  • Availability to travel domestically.
  • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
  • A Bachelor's degree with 14 or more years of experience, a Master's degree with 12 or more years of experience, or a PhD with 9 years of experience.
Responsibilities
  • Provide operations planning and execution support.
  • Develop and coordinate operations transition plans for large constellations.
  • Support anomaly resolution.
  • Develop innovative ways to utilize systems.
  • Develop productive relationships with contractor counterparts, functional counterparts, and other subject matter experts.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of system capabilities.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of system CONOPS, including tools for system tasking, data file transfers, and collection statistics.
  • Mentor team members.
  • Provide on-call support.
  • Provide proactive support to the Government customer and perform tasks in an integrated office environment.
  • Participate in full lifecycle acquisition and systems engineering activities from pre-acquisition through launch and on-orbit checkout.
  • Author, review, and coordinate documents, briefings, and data to support Government communications and decision-making.
