Assignments may be reassigned to other locations based on department needs. Service hours are scheduled between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours or weekend opportunities.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate is required.
  • The candidate must pass a criminal background check.
  • The candidate must be a United States citizen, United States national, or legal permanent resident alien of the United States to serve as an AmeriCorps member.
  • The candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct customer service to litigants in various situations within a self-service environment.
  • Handle requests, inquiries, and complaints from litigants and the general public.
  • Attend and participate in training and evaluation.
  • Assist court customers with finding needed services or locations.
  • Become knowledgeable about community resources and provide information to customers as necessary.
  • Offer surveys to customers who receive assistance and track assistance using computer software.
  • Participate in AmeriCorps training and events required by the Arizona Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith, and Family.
  • Participate in identified community service activities.
