US Top Secret Clearance Required
- Must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Government Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 5-10 years of experience in commercial/government office building design and construction
- Proficiency in the most current versions of Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Experience with BIM standards and procedures
- Ability to develop Design Intent Drawings and other documentation
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural schematics
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ensure all project designs and construction activities align with FBI facility requirements, federal standards, and applicable regulations.
- Oversee federal or government project workflows, maintaining adherence to project scopes and schedules.
- Develop and manage Program of Requirements (POR), Campus Design Guides, and Construction Standards to support project objectives.
- Incorporate Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools into the RFI (Request for Information) process to streamline project coordination and resolve design conflicts.
- Conduct detailed construction cost estimates and review project plans to ensure budget adherence.
- Create high-quality renderings and manage BIM models for presentation and project development purposes.
- Apply national drafting standards and building codes to produce consistent and compliant design documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project integration and delivery.
- Research and specify appropriate office furniture, wall types, light fixtures, and other design elements based on project requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports, studies, and analyses for submission to federal agencies, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
