Hybrid position based in Grand Rapids, MI.
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of Electrical Systems Engineering, including construction drawings, specification review, equipment submittal review and construction installation experience is required
- Required to have demonstrated experience in the application of electrical building codes, NFPA 70,99,101, facility guidelines institute and healthcare codes
- Experience with building software- Revit and Naviswork
- Interpret technical specifications, equipment cutsheets and catalog data
- Work cross functionally with all other teams and engineers
- Manage large projects, Design Engineers and Interns
- Ensure timely deliverables that are in sync with design and construction milestones
- Interface with clients, vendors, architects and contractors to ensure timely and smooth completion of projects
- Model projects in Revit
- See projects through from design phase to assisting with construction deliverables
- Work in critical environments within healthcare research, higher ed and automotive
- Professional Engineer (preferred)
- Experience with parameters outline by renewable energy systems, LEED, Green Globes, and any other relevant energy conservation principles preferred
