Responsibilities

  • Match individual abilities with project requirements.
  • Review the team’s work for technical accuracy.
  • Provide continuous oversight and additional training as needed.
  • Assess AEs’ progress and manage workloads effectively.
  • Hire and provide ongoing training for AEs.
  • Conduct performance reviews with team members.
  • Establish policies and procedures for the AE Department.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and recommendations to Sales Engineers, AEs, Project teams, and management.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to prepare quotes and proposals.
  • Evaluate technical data and create recommendations for customers, AEs, and representatives.
  • Conduct training to enhance the technical expertise of AEs.
  • Coordinate with management and vendors to deliver ongoing departmental training.
  • Review bid lists and takeoffs for all large projects, ensuring thoroughness, accuracy, and completeness.
