Requirements
  • A degree or diploma in a business-related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a sales or training role in the retail industry.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and build lasting relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of learning platforms, product knowledge, and training materials.
  • Strong understanding and execution of selling processes.
  • Ability to communicate the sales process to a team and measure impacts qualitatively and quantitatively.
  • Strong knowledge of and confidence with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and webinar platforms.
  • High-level organizational, time management, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Experience facilitating small and large groups.
  • Knowledge of the wireless industry.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, communication, influencing, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility with associates, business leaders, and subject-matter experts and achieve results without formal authority.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60–80%.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate sales and sales training through classroom, on-the-job training, train-the-trainer, and synchronous and asynchronous e-learning strategies.
  • Keep the sales force within the boundaries of sales excellence metrics for the current program.
  • Validate and comply with sales growth expectations and business needs, assess business needs, and measure impacts on regional key performance indicators.
  • Implement and execute new-employee onboarding, sales and operations training, product training, talent development, and growth-initiative programs.
  • Build relationships and partner with Regional Directors, District Managers, and Team Leads to drive learning initiatives in-market.
  • Partner with outside vendors and corporate liaisons to build central growth strategies, including local client management, local vendor partners, vendor-partner trainers, and the internal learning enablement team.
  • Have candid conversations with managers and associates about development opportunities and connect them to resources.
  • Oversee and maintain training materials and curriculum resources and provide upward feedback to the Manager of Sales Enablement.
  • Distribute instructional materials, handouts, evaluation forms, and other training aids.
  • Create and maintain training schedules for existing employees and new hires.
  • Liaise with vendors and carrier partners to drive learning objectives.
  • Maintain alignment with the corporate budget.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
