Requirements
- Robotics experience in motion planning, perception, or prediction
- Experience building robust, testable, production-quality C++ code
- Strong and proven stakeholder management skills
- Experience owning features end-to-end as a product-focused engineer
- 7+ years of experience in a production software development environment
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end ownership of the Aurora Driver's highway and surface street capabilities
- Provide development of comprehensive offline testing suites and requirements pertinent to the capabilities
- Provide cross-functional collaboration with the product integration team, core autonomy engineers, simulation and triage teams
Desired Qualifications
- Autonomous Vehicles experience spanning multiple functions (motion planning, perception, localization etc.)
- Cross-functional experience working in mission-driven teams, working across boundaries with colleagues from many competency areas
- Masters or PhD in related field
