Beyond Limits is seeking an Information Technology Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in learning and assisting with computer maintenance, troubleshooting, and user support. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with various aspects of IT operations, including hardware and software upkeep, ticket system support, and user training. This internship is a F/T role that spans 10 weeks over the summer and will run approximately from mid-June through mid-August of 2024.

Program Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old at time of start.
• Must be available to work F/T for the entire duration of the program.
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university obtaining a bachelors degree or higher with at least one semester or quarter left at time of start.
• Must be able to provide own housing and transportation to/from job site throughout the duration of internship assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and assist in the maintenance and upkeep of company computers, hardware, and software.
• Provide support to employees/customers through a ticket system for tasks related to company hardware/software/infrastructure.
• Gain hands-on experience in researching, identifying, and troubleshooting cybersecurity events and network optimization.
• Assist in maintaining computer and inventory lists, stock lists, and other supported applications for managing computer systems.
• Provide support for in-office telecom meetings AV connection.
• Hands-on support with network and cloud infrastructure management.
• Engage in user training and promote internal applications developed for employee usage.
• Assist in policy and compliance documentation for information security.
• Cultivate positive relationships with employees and contribute to maintaining productivity.
• Aid the IT team with various tasks and projects, including equipment management and organization.
• Emphasis on developing skills in attendance, dependency, efficient time management, and punctuality throughout the internship program.

Preferred Requirements:

• Exposure to PowerShell and bash scripting.
• Familiarity with MAC OS.
• Competitive GPA.
