Responsibilities:
Report to the Director, HR Process Excellence, within the Talent Services and Operations Department.
Process Analysis & continuous improvement:
Act as a process consultant and partner with PMO office (HR Enablement), HR Operations, and IT to drive strategic initiatives.
Collaborate across HR departments and cross functionally to support business needs specific to operational processes, projects, or introduction of new services.
Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing HR processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Maintain HR process documentation, tools, templates, standards, and training content.
Provide improvement insights using basic improvement methodologies and tools (Lean & Six Sigma).
Utilize DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology to structure and deliver process improvement projects.
Document HR process steps and requirements for new ways of working including analysis or development of standard operating procedures.
Assist in development and baselining operational excellence metrics by identifying, collecting, and synthesizing key measures and performance metric targets.
Conduct process maturity analysis, identifying areas of improvement and partnering with the business or process owner to implement improvements to progressively mature their processes.
Strategic Project Support:
Operate globally and lead process workstreams on GTO strategic initiatives which will require a comprehensive assessment of current state processes as well as development of future state process designs.
Define process objectives, scope, timelines, and success criteria in alignment with strategic priorities.
Lead cross-functional project teams to execute process improvement projects from initiation to completion.
Conduct regular status updates and communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
Partner with change managers to implement change management strategies to drive adoption of new processes and ensure sustained improvements. For example, developing go-live checklists, comms development, hyper care support, feedback loops etc.
Review and assess benefits enabled as an outcome of implementing process improvements.
Process Training and fostering a culture of continuous improvement:
Provide hands-on facilitation, training, and process improvement subject matter expertise to business stakeholders. For example, training and ongoing coaching of staff in the tenets of lean, problem-solving techniques or process mapping.
As required, develop process training content (example, videos, workshops, media) to support in embedding new ways of working because of process changes.
Act as a ‘Change Agent’ in the introduction of lean tools & principles for HR and drive/sustain improvements by working directly supporting and mentoring HR staff at all levels.
Coach other members of the process excellence team and broader GTO in lean or continuous improvement methods, tools, and techniques.
Data Analysis
Utilize data-driven insights to assess process performance and identify opportunities for process or operational optimization.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and other key process performance metrics to measure effectiveness and monitor improvement initiatives’ impact. Ensure ROI and benefits enabled are successfully communicated to key stakeholders.
Analyze trends and root causes of process deviations and recommend corrective actions to drive performance improvements.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
5 + years’ experience with business process improvement methodologies, project management or change management methods.
8 + years’ experience in HR within a Global Organization.
Experienced using process mapping tools (i.e. Visio, ARIS, Lucid chart).
Certified in lean six sigma green belt and experienced in delivering lean or continuous improvement training.
Experience with ‘Lean’ or Six Sigma process/thinking, particularly tools and methods such as DMAIC.
Experience managing multiple complex process related projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to drive decision-making and process optimization.
High level understanding of HR processes.
Experienced with process automation such as RPA and process mining is desirable but not essential.
Experience in supporting large end-to-end cross-functional process excellence/ project /improvement initiatives.
Experience with coordinating UAT and training users on a new or enhanced system or process.
Experience working in Technology/High Tech companies like LinkedIn.
Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of initiatives and strategies.
Strong organizational and business analysis skills; detail-oriented and able to work independently and multi-task.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources.
Experience working with a geographically dispersed team.
Experience in identifying HR Service Delivery optimization opportunities.
Demonstration of successful interactions with cross-functional business partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The pay range for this role is $107,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
