Requirements
  • Five to eight years of experience in confectionery formulation and/or food manufacturing.
  • A bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Food Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in confection formulation and scale-up, including knowledge of production equipment.
  • Strong understanding of ingredient functionality, food chemistry, emulsions, and hydrocolloids to design stable formulations.
  • Familiarity with good manufacturing practices, food safety, and regulatory requirements, including direct experience in sensory testing and shelf-life evaluations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and formulation software.
  • Willingness to travel for trials, production support, and industry events.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear, use hands and arms, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work around allergens, dust, pollen, plant pathogens, cleaning solvents, loud noise, carbon dioxide manufacturing procedures, and confined spaces while using required personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Support the development, optimization, and scaling of cannabis-infused edibles through bench trials, pilot runs, and full-scale production.
  • Conduct sensory testing, shelf-life studies, and technical evaluations of texture, flavor, and stability using viscometers and texture analyzers.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures, batch records, and technical documentation to streamline operations and support audits.
  • Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices, food safety, labeling, and cannabis regulations, including coordinating third-party laboratory testing and interpreting results.
  • Manage formulation and ingredient data using material requirements planning systems and formulation software.
  • Share data-driven insights that influence innovation, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Curaleaf urges Aurora shareholders to accept 45% premium takeover offer

Curaleaf Holdings has issued a letter urging Aurora Cannabis shareholders to accept its takeover offer, which represents a 45% premium over Aurora's 30-day volume weighted average price. The acquisition would create a combined company operating across 17 countries with US$1.5 billion in last twelve-month revenue and nearly US$350 million of adjusted EBITDA. Curaleaf Chairman and CEO Boris Jordan framed the decision starkly, describing Aurora as "a shrinking business that is burning cash and getting less profitable by the day." Curaleaf opens Boston dispensary near Downtown Crossing with expanded retail space

Curaleaf Holdings has opened a new cannabis dispensary in downtown Boston at 21 Milk St., near Downtown Crossing. Curaleaf opens 75th Florida dispensary, expanding US footprint to 167 locations

Curaleaf Holdings has opened its 75th dispensary in Florida, located in Boynton Beach.
