Requirements
  • B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. (A combination of education and demonstrable experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.) with 0-4 years of experience
  • Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices
  • Experience developing in a Linux environment such as RHEL and Ubuntu
  • Experience using scripting languages such as bash, sh, Node.js, JavaScript (TypeScript), and Python
  • Experience with container-based systems such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as GitLab
  • Experience with YAML and JSON formats
  • Knowledge of agile project management and related tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Strong testing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Active Secret clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship
Responsibilities
  • Convert customer requirements into total systems solutions that fit within the technical and schedule constraints of the program
  • Operate in an agile development environment using DevSecOps and CI/CD practices
  • Conduct and participate in design reviews, sprint demonstrations, and after-action reviews
  • Develop and integrate scalable web-based data visualization and analytic platforms using tools such as Node.js, JavaScript, scalable databases (Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL), Docker, Kubernetes
  • Write and execute comprehensive test procedures
  • Deploy applications into development/staging/production environments
  • Peer-review and comment on software code and write/review/update software design and user-focused documentation (e.g., User Manuals)
