We spent the last few years building the brain behind construction. Now we are deploying workflows/ agents, starting with Q&A document chatbot, to be ingrained in construction teams’ workflows, ultimately to automate construction. Given our immense traction with several Fortune 500 construction companies, we are doubling our team in order to deploy several more agents this year. You will have an opportunity to drive the transformation of a multi-trillion-dollar industry full of waste, risks and inefficiencies.
Position Overview:
As the Director of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our AI and ML strategy. You will lead a team of experienced professionals, driving the development of innovative solutions that solve complex problems and deliver tangible business value. This position requires a dynamic leader with a strong technical background in AI and ML, excellent strategic thinking, and a passion for driving results.
What you will do and achieve:
Strategic Leadership:
Lead and scale the AI team and technology stack, from conceptualization to implementation.
Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize AI & ML opportunities.
Team Management:
Recruit a high performing AI engineering team.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI specialists.
Technical Oversight:
Research, build, and deploy applications on top of large language/vision models.
Function as an AI & Machine Learning expert and stay at the forefront of cutting edge trends and relevant methodologies.
Project Execution:
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of AI & ML projects, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and timely solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI & ML capabilities into existing and new products.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with product to understand customer needs and architect solutions with engineering.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Who you are:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in ML Engineering, computer programming, Data Science, or Data Engineering.
Demonstrated ability in leading and scaling teams, with a knack for hiring, coaching, and managing talent.
Expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and computer vision.
Proficient in Python and familiar with AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and applications.
Proven experience in deploying ML/AI models in production settings, ideally within a SaaS startup environment.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Exceptional leadership qualities, with a clear vision and strategy for data deployment.

Salary range: $250,000 - $300,000 / year + equity
