Pastoral Services Internship
Pine Rest is the third largest, freestanding, mental health institution in the country. We are called to express the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by providing behavioral health services with professional excellence, Christian integrity, and compassion.

Each day, we are closing the gaps in access to care. We are innovating through leading-edge research, testing, programs, and treatment modalities that others replicate across the country. Our services include a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center, outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization (day programs), assessment and testing, residential, addiction treatment and specialty services such as crisis response, employee assistance programs, forensic psychiatry and psychology, and neuromodulation. On-the-job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers.

What Will You Do?
This is a formalized internship at Pine Rest through or clinical pastoral education (CPE) program. As an intern you will serve as chaplain in various inpatient units and residential programs. As a chaplain, you will lead worship services and care for patients and staff. We use our ministry experiences for the reflection, education, and development of our pastoral identity and care competence. Some CPE Interns will serve in their own place of ministries.

What Does This Role Require?
- Must be currently enrolled in a qualifying program with a College/University or other approved educational institution.
