Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management with deep expertise in denials, accounts receivable follow-up, and payer behavior.
  • Hands-on experience analyzing claims data, denial trends, and revenue performance across multiple payers and specialties.
  • Experience working across functions with Sales, Operations, or Product teams.
  • Experience designing or improving Revenue Cycle Management workflows, standard operating procedures, or decision frameworks.
  • A track record of using artificial intelligence tools, automation, or data to work more efficiently.
  • Ability to analyze root causes, identify patterns, and develop scalable solutions.
  • Ability to translate raw data into insights, strategy, and execution.
  • Ability to communicate clearly across engineers, account executives, and billing staff through product requirements document comments, sales briefings, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to make independent judgments, document reasoning, and proceed through ambiguity.
Responsibilities
  • Audit claims for accuracy of action taken, validate next-best-action decisions, and translate findings into systemic recommendations.
  • Translate denial patterns into root causes and resolution pathways, and define standardized recovery strategies, escalation logic, and decision frameworks.
  • Build and maintain standard operating procedures, specialty guides, and decision frameworks that allow the organization to execute at a high Revenue Cycle Management standard.
  • Analyze denial rates, aging, payer mix, and workflow gaps during customer onboarding and deliver a data-backed strategic action plan to the Revenue Cycle Success Manager.
  • Support new hire onboarding, partner with Product and Engineering on feature-release training, and communicate industry changes to each team.
  • Serve as the embedded Revenue Cycle Management subject-matter expert throughout product development, contribute to product requirements documents, surface edge cases before build, and ensure the Revenue Cycle Management quality of shipped work.
  • Provide pre-sales Revenue Cycle Management analysis for deals within the ideal customer profile, create specialty-specific enablement materials for account executives, and review outbound copy for accuracy and appropriate framing.
  • Partner with Revenue Cycle Success Managers on complex customer challenges, resolve unclear root causes, and feed systemic insights into the product roadmap and operational workflows.
  • Independently own the onboarding support function for new customers.
  • Identify systemic denial patterns across the customer base and translate them into product improvements and standard operating procedures.
