Position Description:
• The Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic is a multidisciplinary hospital-based community clinic which serves adults and children experiencing a wide range of mental health diagnoses and provides training to Psychiatry residents, Psychology and Social Work trainees. You will have the flexibility to work remotely and within office. We are also a Federally qualified health center eligible for loan forgiveness. Primary Responsibilities:
o Conduct mental health evaluations and provide psychotherapy to and adult population. .
o Collaborate with other health professionals in the care of patients within the Behavioral Health Department as well as the larger network.
o Participate in team meetings and adherence to department and hospital policies and procedures.
• Credentialed with major insurance networks (Aetna, Magellan etc.) preferred
• Current PA Psychologist license required
• Clinicians with experience working with patients with cognitive impairment preferred.
Job Description
Primary Function:
To provide psychotherapy services to adult of all ages. This position requires providing service to the following age population(s): Children (up to age 12) , Adolescents, (13-17) Adults (18-65) Older Adults (65) and F (Frail) in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
Education/Training/Experience:
Masters Level LCSW licensed therapist. PA STATE CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK LICENSE REQUIRED.
Physical Demand Analysis:
Physical Requirements Assisting patients in wheel chairs. Moving therapy equipment
Visual Requirements - Adequate sight to see patients and document
Hearing Requirements - Ability to hear frail geriatric patients
Working Conditions - Normal working conditions. Office and Therapy rooms
