Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or a computer-related field.
- At least 2 years of software development experience developing mobile applications, including websites, services, XML, JSON, REST, and databases.
- Solid knowledge of the mobile industry and intimate knowledge of Android devices, platforms, and application marketplaces.
- A passion for application architecture and user experience.
- A general understanding of mobile networking and cloud or content services.
Responsibilities
- Develop next-generation entertainment and account-management applications on the Android platform.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Android, Java, and the Android Software Development Kit.
- At least 2 years of experience with relational database management systems such as SQL Server or Oracle, or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and CassandraDB.
- Experience with Android and Material Design principles.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and Jenkins.
- Experience with object-relational mapping; ActiveAndroid experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of and previous experience analyzing telecommunications and entertainment products and services, business processes, and back-office systems.
- Having published one or more applications to the Google Play Store or Amazon App Store.
- Experience with DevOps, open-source technologies, and cloud technologies.
