Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist based in the UK to oversee and drive our digital marketing initiatives. This role does have a particular focus on Comparison Shopping Engine (CSE) management and affiliate program management but this is something we can teach. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with strong technical skills in digital marketing and a level of understanding of affiliate marketing. This role requires excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as you will be collaborating with both internal teams, external vendors and network partners.
What will you be doing?
Internal and External Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, eCommerce, design) to align digital marketing initiatives with business goals.
- Regularly communicate campaign performance, insights, and strategy with internal stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with vendors and third-party platforms, ensuring they meet performance and service expectations.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Use analytics tools to track and report on key metrics, campaign performance, and overall ROI.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Develop and present regular reports to leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for growth.
Budget Management:
- Plan and manage digital marketing budgets for CSE and affiliate programs.
- Ensure campaigns are cost-effective and within allocated budgets.
- Monitor spending and adjust campaigns to maximize profitability.
You will also get involved in setting up and optimizing Comparison Shopping Engine campaigns, with support from the wider team.
Affiliate program management will also be a duty within this role, where you will work with affiliates and partners to drive revenue and traffic.
What about you?
Ideally you will have the following-
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing
- Strong technical skills in managing data integration and optimization.
- Proficient in Google Analytics/ Adobe Analytics.
- Experience working with affiliate networks and managing partner relationships would be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in the electronics and/or distribution industry is an added advantage.
It would also be impressive if you had the following-
- Experience with UK and EU affiliate marketing platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO and other digital marketing channels.
- Google Merchant Center, and CSE management tools experience.
- Proficiency in feed management platforms like Feedonomics, ChannelAdvisor, or similar.
