The role:
As a Data Analytics & Strategy Specialist reporting to the Analytics & Insights Center of Excellence, you will play a crucial role in guiding our data and analytics strategy for the AEMEA Consumer Care Business (CCB) division. Your primary responsibility will be supporting the development and execution of data strategies/capabilities, overseeing analytics projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in data management, analytics, and a passion for driving business outcomes through data-driven insights. The data and analytic capabilities you help develop will directly contribute to strategic decision-making and business growth.
Key work may include:
- Building analytic capabilities using a wide range of data sources to help teams understand/diagnose/guide business performance
- Translate data and learnings into actionable insights across brands by helping teams optimize and refine business plans, and identify valuable new approaches/opportunities
- Partner with various business functions to guide/set the AEMEA CCB data strategy by identifying opportunities to clean up/organize internal data, while closely monitoring the marketplace for new methods/tools
- Support the AEMEA CCB division with specific learning requests, leveraging 3P tools or building new capabilities to answer specific business questions
What you will do:
- Lead in executing analytics projects from conception to completion.
- Provide guidance on data analysis methodologies, ensuring the delivery of actionable insights.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the company’s data strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities for leveraging data to gain a competitive advantage.
- Evaluate and recommend data analytics tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness for the organization.
- Work with various internal/external teams to integrate data sources and systems for seamless data flow.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for data strategy and analytics initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on the impact of data strategies.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Science, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
- 2-4 years’ experience in marketing data analytics, business intelligence or related roles preferred
- Proven experience in data strategy development, analytics, and data stewardship
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
- Experience with data visualization/automation tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx or similar
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, data manipulation and data visualization
- Experience with syndicated data sources platforms (Nielsen, IRI, Numerator, etc.) as well as retailer POS data
- Knowledge of marketing and sales concepts and their application in data analysis
- Familiarity with forecasting techniques, predictive modeling and statistical analysis a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects
A reasonable salary range is: $75,000 - $100,000.
