Requirements
  • College degree in health sciences-related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • 1 year of experience working in an operating room
Responsibilities
  • Participate in all preclinical animal studies at Neuralink
  • Conduct surgical data collection and analysis
  • Write, edit and oversee all surgery-related SOPs
  • Support staff in product-related matters including VNS diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming assistance
  • Collaborate with surgeons and hospital staff supporting case coverage for clinical trials
  • Provide feedback to design engineers and anyone working on surgery process improvements
  • Organize the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery
  • Purchase and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies
  • Anticipate the needs of team members with respect to the requirements of a particular surgical procedure
  • Ensure the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize a successful outcome

Neuralink is developing a fully implantable brain-computer interface (BCI) called the Link, utilizing advanced, custom, low-power chips and electronics to process neural signals and enable fast and reliable computer control. The Link is designed to have at least 1024 electrodes and fully wireless communication through the skin, prioritizing safety and ease of use for individuals with paralysis.
