Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch Degree or equivalent)
4+ years of professional design experience in transportation, commercial, or hospitality projects
Knowledge and experience working with local building codes, ADA guidelines, zoning, and other applicable laws
Expertise in Revit, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD
Proficiency in developing Revit schedules, families, shared parameters, and detail components
Experience with scripting and/or visual programming automation tools (Dynamo and Grasshopper)
Visualization tools such as V-ray, Enscape, Lumion, Keyshot, Unreal, or Twinmotion

The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.

Responsabilities

Apply a first principles approach to design production: simplify requirements, delete unnecessary process steps, optimize, accelerate production, and automate.
Leverage the latest design tools to produce drawings for clients, permitting, and construction.
Lead BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement. Create and maintain template files.
Automate routine design tasks to reduce design production time.
Possess a high level of technical proficiency in developing plans, sections, and details.
Coordinate project design and implementation with engineering specialties (civil, electrical, mechanical, automotive) for integrated design and functionality using collaborative BIM software.
Support project coordination and owner/site meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner, contractor, and subcontractors.
Document project changes and prepare drawing revisions for regulators, clients, and the construction team.
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes.

Basic Qualifications

Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch Degree or equivalent).
4+ years of professional design experience in transportation, commercial, or hospitality projects.
Knowledge and experience working with local building codes, ADA guidelines, zoning, and other applicable laws.
Expertise in Revit, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD
Proficiency in developing Revit schedules, families, shared parameters, and detail components
Experience with scripting and/or visual programming automation tools (Dynamo and Grasshopper).Visualization tools such as V-ray, Enscape, Lumion, Keyshot, Unreal, or Twinmotion

Preferred Qualifications

Nevada licensed Architect or eligible for license reciprocity.
Strong engineering coordination background.
Construction administration experience.
Mastery in Revit, Dynamo, Infraworks, or Autodesk API using Python or C#.
Past experience in design-build work environmentsExperience in station architecture and design for transportation projects
