Print Production Professional

Job Description

Coordinates the production of marketing materials in print or digital formats in a timely, quality manner to effectively represent the products, services, brands and/or the organization to customers and prospects. Must be able to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines. Prepares job specifications, adjusts agency specifications, and distributes to potential suppliers for the purpose of obtaining competitive price quotations and managing planned projects. Supervises production phases of projects from initial scheduling, estimating, reviewing projects with team, quality control, prepress, printing, delivery and financial follow through. Ensures compliance with all Regulatory guidelines for materials. Performs administrative tasks as well such as processing FedX shipments, making copies, recording invoices, etc. Must possess the ability to accurately and consistently maintain high level of attention to detail for extensive time periods, while working with deadline time pressures, changing priorities and distractions, exhibiting resourcefulness and composure under pressure. Knowledge of print on demand, pre-press/proofing, sheetfed and web offset printing, bindery/finishing processes, electronic file preparation. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction. Undergraduate/BA/BS degree in applicable discipline and 3-5 years of print production experience.

PMP certification preferred but not required.

Experience in digital production is highly preferred.
