Requirements
  • Hold an MD degree, and must hold or be eligible for, licensure in the province of Quebec
  • Be certified by the Royal College Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent)
  • Be a high-level qualified dermatopathologist with relevant dermatopathology experience and/or fellowship
  • Have certification in Anatomic Pathology
  • Possessing relevant expertise in another field of surgical pathology would be considered an asset
  • Have a demonstrable commitment to inclusive pedagogy and excellence in teaching
  • Bilingual language skills (French and English) are preferred, or a commitment to acquire the necessary language skills to practice medicine in Quebec.
Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in activities such as quality assurance, quality control, and quality improvement programs
  • Participate in undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate medical teaching, as well as in intra-operative consultations
  • Be actively involved in relevant aspects of McGill’s academic mission (e.g., research, teaching, supervision of students and residents, and involvement in academic and administrative committees)
  • Contribute to service activities within their units, the University, and the wider scholarly community
  • Demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
