Position Overview
The Vice President of Product Marketing will be responsible for architecting and executing a world-class product marketing strategy that aligns with MasterControl’s aggressive growth objectives. This executive will lead a team of product marketing managers to create MasterControl’s go-to-market strategy and deliver flawless product launches.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy aligned with business goals and objectives
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product development and marketing efforts
- Identify market trends and opportunities to drive product innovation
- Create focused, high-impact marketing strategies grounded in deep customer and market insights
Go-to-Market
- Lead go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, including positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation
- Craft compelling product narratives and value propositions to excite prospects and invigorate internal teams
- Collaborate with sales and operations leaders to define and iterate on go-to-market motions and sales engagement processes
- Oversee product launches, ensuring effective communication of product value and driving customer adoption
Leadership
- Build and mentor a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Act as a thought leader and spokesperson across multiple channels, including analyst briefings, PR, and industry events
- Bring the company together as a cross-functional leader, facilitating collaboration between product, sales, and marketing teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, preferably with exposure to the life sciences industry
- Proven ability to drive growth and market penetration in competitive landscapes
- Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- 5+ years of team leadership with experience managing and developing small, agile teams
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with a talent for crafting compelling product narratives

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $200,000-$250,000 base Variable comp + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
