  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in cloud engineering or FinOps related roles.
  • Deep understanding of cloud cost management and FinOps principles
  • Proficiency in redefining raw costs to actionable insights for users, often in combination with other data sets
  • Experience with cloud cost management tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical collaborators.
Responsibilities
  • Lead cloud cost optimization initiatives across AWS, OCI, Azure, and GCP platforms
  • Develop and implement FinOps strategies to reduce cloud spend without sacrificing performance or reliability
  • Collaborate with engineering, finance, and product teams to drive cost-efficient cloud usage
  • Implement and lead cost allocation and chargeback mechanisms for multi-cloud environments
  • Increase awareness of cloud costs through sophisticated reporting and dashboards
  • Promote a cost-conscious culture by providing education on FinOps principles and standard methodologies to teams.

  • Experience with data analytics and observability tools (e.g., Databricks, Spark, SQL, Power BI, Grafana)
  • Expertise in managing cloud resources, including provisioning, configuration, and monitoring & Certifications in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
  • Bringing to bear Artificial Intelligence for Improved Forecasting and Enhanced Comprehension of Insights
  • Strategies for leading commitment-based discounts effectively
