Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced education environment with technical experience or related field (e.g. publishing, graphic/multimedia) is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, knowledge of MS Office and/or Adobe Creative Suites preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, web page layout, authoring tools, web technologies and graphic design a plus for some positions preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and team environment as an individual contributor and as a member of the team.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and manage priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn and implement new technologies and adapt processes for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Develops and updates course content materials according to the specifications, standards, and guidelines of the project with oversight from a senior level position.
  • Formats content per project design specifications.
  • Maintains course and academic content in established storage systems and databases using Institutional protocols, processes and procedures.
  • Effectively operates in a team environment, collaborating with Course Development team members during course development.
  • May prepare PDF files and deliverables for print vendors, internal stakeholders, and partners as needed.
  • Actively participates on project teams in assisting with planning, scheduling, and problem solving.
  • Effectively utilizes appropriate technology such as authoring tools, production software, content management system, digital asset system, learning management system and other technical tools/software applications used within the organization as required.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
