District Operations Manager

As a District Operations Manager, youwill be responsible for effective and successful management that drives strong operational, financial, safety, compliance, and customer experience measures for the business. Your goal will be leading and motivating, individual Managers and a large team through regular one on one meetings, team calls and performance management discussions. Your success will be determined by your ability to solve problems using creative solutions coupled with a strong passion for our customer.

Your Responsibilities:  

• Creating and adhering to operational and sales budget targets

• Accountable for financial performance for district through improving the overall business efficiencies

• Ensuring customer satisfaction achieved (measured by satisfaction survey)

• Provide leadership to direct reports and front-line employees to ensure alignment, focusing on safety, productivity, employee satisfaction, change and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve business priorities

• Provides clear direction by establishing and regularly communicating performance expectations and results with the team and takes appropriate actions to address issues as and when they arise

• Liaise with all applicable government departments in each province

• Knowledgeable in current and potential practices and trends in the industry to develop strategies to increase profitability

• Applies creative approaches to addressing needs to achieve win-win solution

Your Skills:  

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written along with presentation skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and action oriented with business acumen

• Strong customer passion – required to facilitate discussions with internal and external customers

• Exceptional leadership skills - Must be able to lead by example

• Well-developed analytical, relationship building skills

Your Experience:  

• Post secondary education in business and/or equivalent experience with a customer service background

• 5 years’ experience in operations and/or customer service. 5 years industry related management experience
