Requirements
  • Three to five years of software testing experience in relevant technologies.
  • Experience testing web-based solutions and data integration solutions.
  • Experience using testing tools and issue or defect tracking tools.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and continuous integration tools.
  • Experience designing test plans, test scenarios, and test activities.
  • A sound understanding of the information technology industry and development languages, with advanced problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to interpret security, clinical safety, and privacy policies and contribute to compliant team standards and guidelines.
  • The ability to work under minimal supervision and plan work to meet objectives in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
  • Execute and maintain automated and manual test suites.
  • Interact with project team members to ensure solutions are fully tested, meet customer requirements, and pass acceptance criteria.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of business solutions through manual and automated testing.
  • Coordinate and perform tests at the quality-control stage of the solution implementation lifecycle.
  • Gather and study information about business problems, solution requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Translate business and system requirements into effective test scenarios and test cases.
  • Maintain requirements traceability between requirements and test cases.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases, document results, confirm that solutions meet requirements, and identify, qualify, and document defects.
  • Study testing data and evaluate the validity of results.
  • Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues and defects not documented in requirements.
  • Create appropriate data for test scenarios and test cases.
  • Support the project team and advocate for solution quality.
  • Advise the Test Lead of potential issues, risks, and impacts associated with solutions.
  • Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and recurring problems, and recommend and facilitate solutions.
  • Continue testing and analysis until results meet product requirements and specifications.
  • Design test suites based on how products fit into customer solutions.
  • Develop automated tests conforming to industry standards.
  • Produce understandable testing objectives and test artifacts.
  • Evaluate software fit for purpose, including non-functional requirements, and help build robust and reliable applications.
  • Keep current with relevant technologies, testing techniques, and test approaches, and share knowledge with the team and wider testing and software development communities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with testing and configuration-management tools and techniques.
  • An understanding of HTTP, HTML, web services, XML, JavaScript, messaging, Linux, Oracle Database, and SQL.
  • Software development experience using Java, JavaScript, Cucumber, Selenium, or similar technologies.
  • Exposure to big-data technologies such as Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, and Cassandra.
  • Healthcare-domain expertise using data and analytics technologies.
  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or engineering.

HEALWELL AI acquires Orion Health, $55M deal
