As we navigate this transformative phase, we seek a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Global Advertising Sales to lead the global sales team.
The Vice President of Global Advertising Sales will report to the Chief Advertising Officer and play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing business opportunities across all sectors. This leader will understand market needs, develop a cutting-edge suite of tools and technologies to bring to market, cultivate strong relationships with industry leaders, including top-line C-suite executives, to expand advertiser revenues and deliver revenue numbers.

Key Responsibilities:
In partnership with the CAO, develop and implement comprehensive mid- to long-term sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business expansion.
Lead a team of sales professionals by fostering a high-performance culture, mentoring and coaching staff, and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, top-line C-suite executives, clients, and partners to drive business growth. Engage with key clients to understand their challenges, present tailored solutions, and negotiate high-impact contracts to secure new business.
Lead efforts to discover new business opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals and transformation initiatives. Collaborate with sales leaders and cross-functional teams to create and market a new suite of tools and technologies tailored to meet market demands and client needs.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the company’s sales approach and offerings.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years in client-facing sales leadership roles with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies and operational plans.
At least 7 years of experience managing medium-size teams (30-40 people) in a sales organization. Proven track record of building high-performing teams.
Ability to think strategically and translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
Deep understanding of the media industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Strong sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level clients and industry stakeholders.
Proven track record of implementing new products, processes, and standards that had a significant operational, financial, and workforce impact on the sales organization.

The salary range for this position is:
252,770.00 - 469,430.00 USD Annual
The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
