Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or mathematics
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting or professional services
  • Certification such as CPA, CFE, CFA, or CVA
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Well-developed analytical abilities
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Fluent oral and written foreign language skills (particularly Spanish) are a plus
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment
Responsibilities
  • Financial investigations including those involving financial statement fraud, asset misappropriation, and corruption
  • Assessments of complex financial transactions for compliance with GAAP and IFRS
  • Reporting and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act, FCPA, and federal securities laws
  • Develop and assess projections and forecasts
  • Create financial models incorporating valuation theory
  • Analyze financial transactions for possible fraud and compliance with GAAP or IFRS
  • Evaluating compliance with rules and regulations of the FCPA, Sarbanes-Oxley and the federal securities laws
  • Research and analyze factors affecting litigation damages or valuations
  • Review and summarize materials produced in litigation matters such as depositions and financial statements
  • Review audit working papers for compliance with professional standards
  • Communicate with clients and colleagues in written and oral form
  • Draft written reports
  • Create and manage large data sets
  • Apply statistical analysis
  • Prepare presentation materials
  • Perform quality control review over work product
  • Organize documents and work papers
  • Train and mentor other professional staff
