Requirements
  • A Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from a Commission on Dental Accreditation-accredited dental school.
  • A current, active, valid, and unrestricted dental license in at least one U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
  • A minimum of two years of full-time dental practice.
  • At least one year of dental practice within the past three years, or graduation within the past year from an accredited postgraduate dentistry training program.
  • A current American Heart Association-approved Basic Life Support certification.
  • A National Provider Identifier Type 1 before providing patient care.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English with patients, care teams, and administrative staff.
Responsibilities
  • Provide a full range of professional dental treatment for commonly encountered dental diseases and oral health conditions.
  • Perform single and multiple tooth extractions, restorations of simple and compound cavities, and prosthodontic services including crowns, dentures, and bridges.
  • Document all patient treatment in the dental treatment record and use the Corporate Dental Application.
  • Provide preventive, corrective, and restorative dental care.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and Dental Treatment Facility staff to deliver coordinated patient care.
